The best VAMPIR farm spot is not the one with the biggest gold number. Potions you burn, the walk or teleport back, and the EXP you actually wanted all change the answer. Run two spots with the same character for the same 30 minutes, write down what the combat log says, and compare net gold and EXP per hour. Every number below is an example built to show the method; none of it is a measured yield from any server.

The 30-minute comparison

  1. Same gear, same skill rotation, same buffs at spot A and spot B. Note server, level, time of day and zone.
  2. Farm spot A for 30 minutes. Write start and end gold, EXP gained, potions used and the time it took to get back.
  3. Do the same at spot B. Leave quest turn-ins and one-off rewards out of the farm income.
  4. Swap the order on the next run, because crowding changes; repeat each spot in a couple of sessions if you can.

Thirty minutes is a starting point, not statistics. Rare drops need far longer. If a death, a different buff or a crowd changed the run, do not compare it as if it were equal.

Net gold, two ways

With a gross income figure: net gold = gold from the farm minus potions and buffs used minus teleport and other gold costs. Count potions you brought from stock at their replacement price, or the run that spends stock looks profitable for free.

With only the wallet difference: potions bought during the run already came out of the balance, so do not subtract them twice. Correct the wallet difference by the change in the value of your consumable stock instead. If the wallet rose 20,000 while you used 5,000 of old potions, the answer is 15,000. Strip out unrelated income that landed in between.

Per hour, using total time

Net gold per hour = net gold × 60 ÷ total minutes. Spot A: 50,000 × 60 ÷ 36 ≈ 83,333. Spot B: 60,000 × 60 ÷ 32 = 112,500. B grossed less and still wins, because it cost less and wasted less time.

EXP per hour uses the same minutes: A about 2,000,000, B about 1,968,750. Gold-first, B; EXP-only in this example, A by a hair. A small gap is not a verdict; look at the range across repeats.

A log template: date and server, class and level, gear and buffs, spot, total minutes, gross gold, consumables, net gold, EXP, deaths, unsold drops. Measure again with the same template after a gear change and you will see whether the upgrade shows up in the yield.
