Netmarble's own answer is in the store description: "Free-to-play players grow by how hard they grind, paying players grow by how much they invest." The design behind that line, from Netmarble's Korean economy notes, is that diamonds drop from field and dungeon hunting and not only from the market, that you can earn a set amount of diamonds every month from field play alone, and that Trinity, the core crafting and trading resource, comes mainly from PK fields. This guide turns those statements into a plan. No official hourly yield exists.

What Netmarble says about the economy

The three official statements this guide rests on
SourceWhat it says
Economy press release (June 27, 2025) Diamonds are farmed through field and dungeon hunting on top of market income; Trinity is the core resource and comes mainly from PK fields; bots and abnormal behaviour are blocked by behaviour detection; the company keeps intervention low so the economy runs on its own
Launch press release (August 2025) A certain amount of diamonds can be earned every month through field play alone; a tiered cumulative reward model weighted toward lower-grade items; no high-efficiency package sales
Google Play description (English) Diamond farming fields; Trinity spanning crafting to trading; free players grow by grind, paying players by investment

Where diamonds come from

Diamond sources named in official material
SourceWhat it takesNote
Field and dungeon hunting Time, potions, a suitable spot A monthly amount exists; the number is not published, so watch the counter on your own account
Selling on the market Tradeable items Buyers pay in diamonds; a gold listing fee and a diamond commission come off the sale
Events and pre-registration rewards Account conditions One-off; timed claim rules apply

Netmarble calls the monthly amount "a certain amount". That makes it plannable: set a target at the start of the month, and once you hit the cap, move your farming time to gold and EXP. When you sell, do not count the listing price as income; after the listing fee and the commission, what you receive is lower.

What Trinity is and why it sits in PK fields

Per the economy notes, Trinity is the core resource from crafting to trading and comes mainly from PK fields. For a free player that means the most valuable resource lives in the riskiest zone. It is deliberate: to farm Trinity you go into open-PvP areas like Gehenna, you go in a group rather than alone, and you weigh death cost against income.

Spending order for free players

This order is our editorial suggestion; Netmarble publishes no spending list. The goal is to put scarce diamonds into things that permanently grow the account and to keep market bargains away from cosmetics.

  1. Spend diamonds first on permanent account growth: systems that speed progression and cannot be undone come before cosmetics.
  2. Before buying on the market, estimate how many hours of field farming the same item would take.
  3. Before entering Gehenna for Trinity, write down the death cost: potions, time, lost points. Going in a group reduces the loss.
  4. Do not end a month below the diamond cap; when you are close, switch the remaining days to gold and EXP farming.
  5. Claim event rewards before they expire and add one-off rewards such as pre-registration and the Discord coupon to the plan.

Where the paying player differs

Netmarble says the paying player grows "by how much they invest": same systems, faster. For budgeting, the US App Store lists 320 Diamonds at $2.99, 720 at $6.99, 1,600 at $13.99, 4,000 at $35.99 and 7,200 at $64.99, with packages from $2.99 to $64.99 as of September 18, 2026. Prices change by store and region. Putting a dollar value on the diamonds you farm in a month shows which package would really be "buying time".
