Before you walk away from VAMPIR, answer two questions: does the device stay on, and what should the character do while you are gone? Power-saving mode answers the first by cutting the screen load while the app stays open. Support Mode answers the second by running a queue with stop rules. They sit next to each other on the main screen and they are not the same switch; turning on one does not set the other.
Two questions, two switches
| Question | Switch | What to check |
|---|---|---|
| Device stays on and I want it to run cooler | Power-saving mode | Connection stays up; the app stays in the foreground |
| What does the character do while I am gone | Support Mode | Activity order, stop on death, weight limit, whether auto-maintenance is available |
If you only turn on power-saving, the character keeps doing whatever it was doing with no queue and no stop rule. If you only turn on Support Mode, the screen keeps drawing at full load. For a long absence you want both.

Two-minute checklist before you leave
- Watch the character for a minute in the spot you chose. If HP keeps dipping, change the spot before you change the mode.
- Set the queue: daily content first, farm last. Turn on stop-on-death.
- Check potions, bag space and the weight limit. If you own Olga's Grace, enable auto-maintenance and check the dismantle rules it will use.
- Turn on power-saving mode, note the time and the character's level and gold.
- Do not judge by the screen being on when you return; judge by the numbers you wrote down.
When you come back and nothing happened
Check in this order: was the app still in the foreground and connected; did the queue stop on death or weight; did the bag fill; did the potions run out. Change one setting at a time and watch for a few minutes before you leave again. This order is a way of narrowing the cause, not a claim that every build shows the same message.
