You learn a VAMPIR skill by using the class-appropriate skill book from your inventory. Books come from the village shop for gold, from crafting, from boss monsters, from other players on the market and from quests. Active skills need to be placed in the rotation; passive skills work from the moment you learn them. Skill Cards are a separate layer that opens at level 75 and enhances skills you already know.
Four skill types
| Type | How it works |
|---|---|
| Active | Must be triggered after learning; goes into the shortcut slots |
| Passive | Applies automatically once learned and stays on |
| Season ranking active | Comes with a noble title; all share one cooldown and only one can be auto-set |
| Special | Crafted from a dedicated recipe with materials from the Naricanje Valley season challenge |

Setting the auto rotation
- Drag the active skills you want into the shortcut skill slots.
- Turn on the AUTO button, or switch individual slots to automatic.
- Open the gear icon on the active skill list and set the execution order.
- Set an interval for each skill so a long-cooldown burst is not wasted on a single mob.
- Test the rotation on trash mobs and on one boss; what feels right on a group of five can starve you on a single target.
Skill Cards from level 75
Skill Cards live under Menu → Skill Card and open at level 75. The first copy of a card unlocks it automatically; further copies stack as duplicates. A card only does something once the linked skill is learned; apply it to a learned skill and it enhances that skill. Same-grade duplicates synthesize into a higher grade. Synthesis of rare or higher cards that fails adds synthesis points, and 20 rare-grade points buy one hero-grade card, so failures are not pure loss. Holding more cards of a grade gives possession bonuses, and hero-grade cards can be confirmed or re-summoned.
| Situation | What happens |
|---|---|
| Card for a skill you have not learned | Nothing yet; it activates when you learn the skill |
| Duplicate of a card you own | Counts toward synthesis and possession bonuses |
| Synthesis fails (rare or higher) | You get synthesis points; 20 rare points equal one hero card |
| Hero grade or higher pulled | You can confirm it or re-summon |
