The VAMPIR main screen has eight areas, and the two you will watch most are the bloodsucking icon and the adrenaline gauge. When the icon pops up during a fight, tap it: the target dies instantly and you get the bloodsucking effect, and every activation charges the adrenaline gauge. Key bindings exist only on PC through the Netmarble Launcher.

What each area of the main screen does

The eight areas in Netmarble's Korean main-screen guide
AreaWhat it holds
1. Character Character info, buffs, map info, return to town, boss info, create party, create raid
2. Session Chat, power-saving mode, Support Mode, camera settings; level, combat power and EXP
3. Resources Potion status and the adrenaline gauge
4. Quick slots Item and skill shortcuts you assign
5. Currency What you currently hold
6. Main menus Events, shop, bag, menu
7. Quests Quest info, target info, combat log
8. Combat Target, change target, detect, auto-progress, mount, dash, attack

The combat log in area 7 is where you read what actually dropped and how much EXP a fight gave. The power-saving mode and Support Mode toggles in area 2 are the two ways to keep farming with less attention; they do different things, and our Support Mode guide covers the difference.

Bloodsucking icon and adrenaline gauge

While you attack monsters, a bloodsucking icon appears now and then. Activate it and the target dies on the spot while you receive the bloodsucking effect. The guide keeps two skill sets apart: one for monsters, one for characters, so what happens in PvP is not the same skill as in a farm spot. Each activation charges the adrenaline gauge in area 3; when it fills, adrenaline effects kick in. Watch the gauge, not just the icon, because the gauge is what turns a long fight into a buffed one.

PC key bindings

Key setting is a PC feature that works through the Netmarble Launcher. You can change the defaults from two places: the combat screen, where the bound keys are shown, and the shortcut list, where you pick a category and edit. Select the key you want to change, press the new key, and clear or replace keys that are already taken. The mobile client has no key setting screen.

  1. Open the shortcut list and pick the category (combat, movement, menus).
  2. Select the action, then press the key you want. If the key is already bound, remove or change that binding first.
  3. Test the new layout in a safe spot before you take it into Gehenna or an Epic dungeon.
